Sustainability
We care about our environment and the experience of every visitor to Cornwall. To ensure our beautiful surroundings are preserved for future generations, we are constantly reviewing how we can operate in a more sustainable way. Some of these activities are very simple, for example reducing food miles through sourcing locally, but we also have taken on bigger projects, which not only improve sustainability, but also the environment. Actions completed over the past year include the planting of over 250 mature trees, the introduction of grey water capture and recycling for non guest related areas, replacement of 70 petrol and diesel vehicles, with electric units, setting up of a complete waste recycling system and working with our suppliers to achieve our long term aim of eliminating packaging waste altogether.
