An Boesti

A new Cornish restaurant with a Cornish name that uses Cornish suppliers is proving a hit with diners.

It’s called ‘An Boesti’, which is Cornish for ‘the restaurant’ and since its opening has had rave reviews from its patrons and is averaging 55 covers a night.

The restaurant’s meat comes from the Brian Etherington Meat Company of Scorrier near Redruth, fish comes from Matthew Stevens and Son in St Ives, cheese from Hanson Fine Foods of Redruth, groceries from Tamar Fruit and Vegetables, wine from Castang Wines of Looe and the restaurant also serves Cornish coffee and Cornish water.

Yannick Loué, restaurant and bar manager said: “We take pride in sourcing our produce locally and have good relationships with local suppliers. Customer service and attention to detail is key for us. With a stunning view across the 18th hole of the Nicklaus Signature Course the whole dining experience is really special.”

An Boesti is open to residents, guests and members, Wednesday to Sunday from 6.30pm until last orders at 9.45pm.
